Glimpse 12 “Thankfulness”

So here is a list of some things that I am thankful for this year. Just so ya know these are in no specific order.

10. That my uncle will be here for at least one more thanksgiving.

9. That I have a warm house for the winter.

8. That most of my family can make it home for this years celebration.

7. I am thankful for the long weekend that I can rest on.

6. I am thankful that God has given me a good year thus far.

5.I am thankful that the Iowa hawkeyes have had a good season.

4. I am thankful that the new twilight has came out. hahaha

3. I am thankful that I have a good church to go to.

2.I am thankful That i have a caring family.

1. I am thankful that god has blessed my life tremendously.

Glimpse 11 “Hunting”

As you may know the past week was pheasent hunting opening. Ever since I have been a young child I was hunting. I started out hunting with a bb gun, then I had a 20 gauge, and finally my dad gave me a 12 gauge. Even though some people think that hunting animals for sport is wrong I see nothing wrong with it. God says in the bible that we are in control over his creation, and I feel that as long as we hunt wisely and follow all the rules there is nothing wrong with it. I really dont get why some people think that hunting a animal is wrong. Animals do not have souls they cant understand logic and they are here on earth for humans to enjoy. I feel that hunting is a enjoyment and God not only gave it to us as a act of survival but a act of enjoyment.  If you have any objections feel free to let me know.

Glimpse 10 “Electronic Footprint”

Even though I do not have much info on the Internet. I feel that it is important to only have good info on the net. Because as it says your boss can search you and find out what you put for others to see. I think that you should put your name only if you need to and it is for a important cause not just for stores. I feel that face book and my space accounts are good as long as you don’t put bad information on them such as your adress or any other personal info. I personally have a account but I don’t put any important information. I feel that people can use that info for bad such as stealing your identity or maybe even worse things such as burglary or even murder so i choose not to use it. So my footprint consist of a face book page which has little on it and a few wrestling articles from high school that is about it. I also feel that I am in charge of being Internet savvy because i am in control of my own actions.

Nonsense

Here is a little bit of nonsense for our college comp class fun huh.

I want to do anything except this paper but I guess I have to accept that I have to do it. It already seems dumb to me and  my conscience is already bugging me for writing something this dumb. Its just the principle of the idea it gives me no peace to write this. It’s so bad the principal is consciously thinking about giving me a detention. It’s just too dumb I think I would rather eat dessert in the desert. My teacher told me I am doing a thorough job so thats good. I am getting further and  further from sanity. The chair I am sitting on is too and my but is starting to hurt. my friends say theirs are too. There are more than two kids writing this assignment and that is what is sad. I dont even want  to breathe any more. So here is the assignment. There once was a bear among the nomads who lived in the desert. He always threw up on the tents however so their tents always stunk. So one day the nomads took the tent stakes loose. They packed up in an attemp to lose the bear. When they found a new place to  set up camp there was a snake at this location. The nomads were very self conscious  and did not like the snake so they loosend the tent stakes and moved again. The third place they moved to was a nice grean lawn. But the man who lived in the big white house did illicit things when he had lied down at night. The mans co-workers elicited information out of him so he quit his job. when the nomads heard this they moved again. Now they’re living happily in your back yard. They desided this was a decent home so they stayed there. If you think I am lying go look in your back yard and the see who’s lying

Glimpse 9 ‘College”

College is a very exciting time in most peoples life, but as I finding out the months leading up to leaving college can be very stessful. Not only are like a million things changing in my life, but everything is going to be differnt in a few months and the though to me is kinda scary.  I’m sure evrything will work out fine and college will be a great time in my life but I think that the months leading up to college can be stressfull so i am open to any coments opn what to do about preparing for college.

Glimpse 8 “Cheating”

This Glimpse will be my response to the article about plagiarism and cheating. I do agree that even though it is wrong, most high school students have cheated at least one time in there high school days. I will admit it does seem like an easy way out. Like the article says if you don’t care about the assignment why would you try. I think lots of high school students feal this way, and Ithink that is why cheating is such a big problem in America. I feel the Internet is just another way to make cheating easier  and only adds to the problem just as the article says. That is my opinion on the article.

Glimpse 7 “Hawkeye Picture”

Well this picture shows where I am going to be  next year. I plan to attend The University of Iowa and if all goes well I will be a manager for there football team and get to go to all the games and see the packed house of kinnick and all the other stadiums that they play in. I feel this will be a great expierence and another good chapther in my life.

Glimpse 6 “Interest”

Well I have lots of interest but i am going to write about water spors today. I really like to be on the water in the summer and I especially like to ride our sea-doo jet ski. Here is a link to there homepage. They are tons of fun in the water and have enough power to do anything you want them to. I enjoy skiing, tubing, wakeboarding all behind the jet ski. I really like to wakeboard so I will put a link on a website that gives a  few tips for being a begining wake-boarder just in case you want to try. Glimpse 5 “Politics”

So I have to try make a post you can comment on. There is one thing today that you can always comment on and thats politics. Even though I am far from a expert in this subjest I feel like there is a lot to talk about to meake a memorable post. I personally am not a huge fan of Mr. Obama but I am not saying it bad if you are a supporter of him. I personally just dont like his policies I feel like his health care bill is a joke. The fact that he wants to tax the middle class to pay for the others is a outrage to me. I do think that regulations do have to be set on insurance companies but these taxes he is calling for is an outrage so let me know your opinions.
